SoMa "One Bedroom" Listed for $749K, is Already in Contract

New, 4 comments

Jackson Brewery in SoMa was built in 1907 and converted to residential lofts in 1993. It's Local Landmark #199 and made it onto the National Register of Historic Places in 1993. There are seven live/work units in the building, and unit #2A came onto the market less than two weeks ago. The condo clocks in at 895 square feet and has all the architectural details you want in a conversion project: exposed brick and timber, polished hardwood floors. The condo is being advertised as a 1-bed, 1-bath unit, but the photos tell a different story. What defines a bedroom is debated regularly, but this setup most certainly has no wall separating the sleeping area from the rest of the home. The craziest part? It's already in contract. Monthly HOA dues are $490 and there's 1-car parking in the garage. · The Jackson Brewing Company Loomed Above Western SoMa [Curbed SF]
