The Market Street Prototyping Festival will take over more than a mile of the city's major thoroughfare to test new urban design ideas meant to improve public space. A call for proposals has just opened for the festival, which will run from October 2-4 of this year. The event is meant to trial a range of some 50 projects and to allow the public to provide feedback on which work best and should be considered for permanent installation.
