Disappearing Sculptures

The life-sized bronze sculptures by artist Seward Johnson that have been installed on Fillmore Street since last June are now gone as the street's Gene Suttle Plaza undergoes upgrades. The sculptures have been shipped to New Jersey where they will be part of Johnson's career retrospective. A new succulent garden has been planted in the spot where some of the statues stood.
