New, 1 comment

San Francisco has become the first city in the world to release a census on parking, finding that there are 441,950 publicly available parking spaces. Of the 275,450 street spaces, approximately ten percent are are metered. The data, which was collected through a combination of aerial photography and clipboards with interns, will be used to inform the SFpark app that helps drivers find parking spaces. [SF Examiner]
