Where are San Francisco's New Residents Coming From?

It's common knowledge that high-paying jobs are drawing people to San Francisco from around the country in droves, but where exactly are all these transplants from? To help answer the question, Spokeo has tracked domestic migration patterns by taking a look at out-of-state cell phone numbers tied to local addresses. According to their research, the highest percentage of new San Francisco residents from individual states come from Nevada and Hawaii. Spokeo has also determined that the top five cities from which San Franciscans originally hail from are Chicago, Seattle, New York, Brooklyn (NY), and Washington, DC.
