Oak Knoll Revived

A project in the Oakland Hills that has the potential to build as many as 960 homes over 160 acres has been revived with its purchase from the defunct Lehman Brothers. Developer SunCal was originally on board to create the Oak Knoll project on the site of an old Naval Medical Center along with Lehman, but plans went awry when Lehman went bankrupt back in 2008. Now SunCal has purchased the land and plans to move forward with the construction of houses, parks, and commercial space. [SF Business Times]
