From the Curbed inbox:
Any idea what's happening to the old $.99 store on Mission and 18th? It's currently a defunct building.Curbed has covered this building in the past, bring news last year that the building at 2205 Mission was sold in 2010 and supposed to be rehabbed to house a new grocery store. Permits got revoked last year when the Planning Department caught them red-handed for removing historic porcelain enamel siding. Now according to building permits filed last month, the property owners are scraping the grocery store idea in favor of a "full service restaurant and brewery." We haven't been able to track down any info on this new venture - readers, have you heard any word?
