Demolition crews have been busy the last couple of weeks clearing away two small buildings located at 340-350 Fremont Street. In its place will rise a 440-foot residential tower and podium designed by Handel Architects. The building will house 348 units, most in the 40-story main tower, along with a three-floor underground parking garage. Building amenities for the competitive Rincon Hill area tower include a fitness center, yoga room, business center, game room and the always desirable pet grooming area. Demo and clearing of the lot should finished this spring with excavation for the underground garage to follow.
