535 Mission Facade Nearly Complete in South Financial Area

In a little over a year 535 Mission Street has gone from an abandoned construction site to a glistening office tower that, when completed later this year, will be the first of a new generation of post-recession SoMa skyscrapers. Boston Properties got the jump on many competitors by starting construction when the market first showed signs of improvement, and going with a building that had completed most underground work pre-recession. The gamble seems to have paid off with real estate information firm Trulia grabbing six floors of the 27-story tower, with an option to grab six more in the future.
