Smallest Studio for Rent in San Francisco is 225 Square Feet

New, 9 comments

Microdwellings reaches new heights (or sinks to new depths?) this week with what looks to be the smallest one-bedroom in San Francisco currently for rent: 225 square feet. Right in the middle of Chinatown, this tiny abode actually features two separate rooms—one is the kitchen, with perhaps room for a tiny table and a chair, and the other is the bedroom with access to the bathroom. The entire apartment, including kitchen and bathroom, is 25 feet long and 9 feet wide. The windows face the building next door for a prison-like view. Perhaps most impressive is the broker's video tour - he manages to stretch it out over two minutes, which is about the maximum amount of time we'd want to spend in there. Asking price? $1,750/month.
