Pollution Mapper

New, 2 comments

San Francisco's most polluted neighborhoods have been visualized in a new, detailed map put out by the California Environmental Protection Agency. The city is relatively unpolluted according to the map rankings, which take into account factors such as contaminants known to be present and rates of asthma. Most of the city's Western neighborhoods show low pollution, but there are pockets of higher levels around the Bayview and downtown. [Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment]
