The vacant spot next to the soon-to-be redeveloped New Mission Theater is set to become an art gallery for young local artists. The 1926 building on Mission Street near the new Vida condos has 6,000 square feet of space and will have room for theater, dance and fine art. It will be run by Rowland Weinstein, who grew up in the Mission and also own the high-end Weinstein Gallery on Union Square. [MissionLocal]
