A 19th-century shipwreck was discovered today off the coast of San Francisco and will be shared with the public in a future waterfront exhibit at Crissy Field. The wreckage of the boat, named the City of Chester, is 202 feet long and sank back in 1988 after being hit by a steamer in dense San Francisco fog. It was discovered not far from the Golden Gate Bridge. [NOAA]
