Benefits of Listing

New, 1 comment

A new comparison of homes that sold after listing on the MLS to those that sold off-market has found that MLS listings lead to higher sales prices. The report estimates that 11% of homes in San Francisco were sold without listing in 2013. Single-family homes listed on the MLS received a 17% higher sales price than those that didn't, while resale condos on the MLS drew 9% more than those that sold unlisted. [Jackson Fuller]
