Goats have been recruited as soldiers for the opposition in the latest battle against nonnative plants. Presidio officials are overseeing an effort to restore a section of park near Mountain Lake into the wetland that was once there. 200 eucalyptus have been removed to allow goats to further munch away at other nonnative bush and vegetation, clearing room for pre-conquistador amphibians & insects.
