Grocery Store to Turn Brewery in the Central Sunset

A vacant grocery store on Noriega between 24th and 25th avenues is slated to soon become the Sunset Reservoir Brewing Company if all goes well at tomorrow's Planning Commission. The current owner of Outer Sunset's Devils Teeth Bakery is behind the project, with a small batch brewery and restaurant to move into the former El Grande Produce Market #2 location at 1735 Noriega. Geiszler Architects is behind the design, which won't expand the building but will add a mezzanine, expand the second floor, and remodel the exterior (but saving the 1930s tilework). There's tons of support from the neighborhood, with well over 100 signatures and letters.
