The new season of Sunday Streets is kicking off next week with a closure to vehicular traffic of 3.3 miles of northbound Embarcadero lanes. The path will allow pedestrians and bicyclists nearly uninterrupted street access from Fisherman's Wharf all the way to AT&T Park and beyond. The party runs from 11-4 on March 9 and will have "a full day of free, family-oriented fun." The event marks the first of nine scheduled street closures for this, the seventh season of the popular event. This year's locations include the Tenderloin, Dogpatch and Richmond districts, as well as two stops in The Mission. For more info and a complete calendar list click here.
