498 Corbett Street in Twin Peaks is a property with a complicated past. Between 2008 and 2010, it was listed, delisted, or had its price changed more than a dozen times before finally being foreclosed upon in 2012. By August of that year, the property had been sold to flippers for $1.15 million. It had a rather outdated feel at the time with lots of carpeting and an old-school wet bar. A complete renovation has since taken place and the 3,000 square foot, 4-bed 4.5-bath house is now all stainless-steel minimalism. It has a full theater with surround sound, a climate controlled wine storage room, a wrap-around deck and views out over the city. It's now back on the market for $2.95 million, meaning it's added $1.8 million in the year and a half that it took to renovate. However, as Curbed noted back in 2010, it's on a strange, curvy corner and there's a potentially noisy bus stop right outside the front door. · 498 Corbett Leaves the Millionaire Club [Curbed SF]
