A new San Francisco-based company called PeerSpace is trying to become the Airbnb of commercial space by creating a marketplace for business owners to rent out their space when it is not being used. With commercial rents in San Francisco at an all-time high, the company aims to provide a source of income for those with a space and a source of temporary commercial space for those in need. Its launch last week included seven types of spaces for rent: office, culinary, fitness, studio, performance, event and class. [Forbes/Curbed Inbox]
