Tourist Traps

Researchers at mapping platform Mapbox have figured out how to use Twitter data to map where tourists are located at any given time in San Francisco. They looked for tweets sent by people currently in the city who usually Tweet from other locations. Unsurprisingly, most of the tourists were hanging out near Union Sqaure, Fisherman's Wharf, AT&T Park and the Golden Gate Bridge. [Priceonomics]
