Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, where we scour San Francisco's rental listings to see what your monthly budget will get you across the city. This week, we're investigating apartments listed for $2,800/month. The theme of this week's comparison is parking - almost all the rentals include it (perhaps a first for Curbed Comparisons!) You tell us which lease you'd sign.
↑ In the Marina, this 1-bed, 2-bath apartment comes with a big perk - parking - included in its $2,850/month. It's got hardwood throughout, giant windows, and a small balcony off the bedroom. The kitchen and bathroom are very vintage (read: pink tile). Shared backyard but no laundry.
↑ In Ashbury Heights, this 1-bed, 1-bath is asking $2,750/month. There's a balcony with panoramic views and parking, as well as onsite storage, is included. The kitchen is small and dated (not in a charming way) and the unit is carpeted throughout. The bedroom looks small and dark. Onsite laundry and a recreation room with ping pong table. No pets.
↑ In the Outer Richmond, this 2-bed, 2-bath single family home is asking $2,850/month. The place looks pretty run-down, but has nice hardwood on the main floor. The kitchen and bathroom could really use work. There are laundry hook-ups, but you have to bring your own machines. Parking included. No pets.
↑ In Noe Valley, this top-floor 1-bed, 1-bath is asking $2,795/month. It also includes parking. The place has been nicely remodeled and has a balcony with views. It's also got a private washer and dryer. No pets.
