Salesforce is getting ready to sell 14 Mission Bay-located acres of land that it purchased for $278 million back in 2010. The company originally planned to build its new headquarters on the land but instead has rented space in towers around the city because it was growing faster than it could build. Although the for-sale price has not been set yet, it will almost certainly be higher than what Salesforce paid. [Businessweek]
