A long-vacant 50,000 square-foot office building in downtown Berkeley may soon become a tech hub. 2015 Shattuck Avenue was purchased for $9.56 million by Ten Capital Management, which is now targeting tech clients for the building's upper six floors. Any tech tenants would join Tcho Chocolate as new Berkeley residents; the chocolate company announced its move from the Embarcadero's Pier 17 to Berkeley this week. [SF Business Times]
