Rumormongering

Through remarkable verbal gymnastics ("supply is plentiful" is not as encouraging as it sounds) and a lot of connect-the-dots speculation, SF Business Times writes that the SF luxury housing market could be leveling off this spring. Some local agents report fewer bids, and Broker Metrics in an SF branch of Paragon show 1 in 3 property listings expired in December and January. If even half of this speculation turns out to be true, this could be great news for home buyers. [SF Business Times/image via Shutterstock]
