More Swanky Office Space Headed for Western SoMa

New, 2 comments

Down in Western SoMa, a new project looks to add a new five story, 65' office building with 55,000 sq.ft. It'll require demo of an existing two story industrial building that's previously been home to tech manufacturing companies. The new design by RIM Architects (of Stow Lake Boathouse renovation fame) features five levels of open floor space and multiple levels of rooftop open space. There won't be any on-site parking, but there will be 17 bike spaces. Planning Staff are big fans of the design and three neighboring small-businesses wrote letters in support of the project. It heads to the Planning Commission tomorrow for approvals, but sounds like a sure thing to us. · Large Project Authorization - 81-85 Bluxome [SF Planning]
