YBCA to Screen Indie Films Based on Design and Architecture

Beginning at the end of this month, the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts will begin screening a showcase of films based on design and architecture called the Design and Architecture Films Showcase. Running February 27 to March 30, the array of films will cover architecture topics like New York's High Line and Lincoln Center; rivers buried under 19th Century cities; bohemian designer Pablo Ferro; and Japanese minimalist architect Tadao Ando. The show kicks off with a three night run of Design Is One: Lella & Massimo Vignelli, including a Q&A with the director after the first showing. Tickets to each screening are $10 or less, and a full list of the days and times is available here.
