Millennium Tower One-Bedroom Wants a Mind-Numbing $2.35M

New, 5 comments

Ever since it opened back in 2009, prices at the super-luxury Millennium Tower have soared as high as the condo building's 60-story tower. The latest very expensive Millennium unit to hit the market is a one-bedroom, two-bathroom condo that wants $2.35 million. The condo is massive, with 1,633 square feet of space, so its ask per square comes in at a not-super-crazy $1,439. However, there are some odd things about the place. The brokerbabble advertises a "sophisticated loft-like floorplan," which appears to mean that the bedroom has no doors.

The unit boasts 10-foot-high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows with leafy green views, and white ash hardwood floors. The HOA dues are $1,882 per month, but they cover a range of amenities that include a Sports Club LA-managed fitness center, a lap pool, and a private screening room.

The condo's listing is pushing its potential as a pied-à-terre. If an absentee owner does purchase the unit, perhaps he or she would consider leasing the bathroom to a desperate renter, given that it looks bigger than the 216-square-foot Noe Valley micro-studio that's currently on the rental market for $1,425 per month.
