Waterfront Wire

The Ferry Building's longtime anchor office tenant—law firm Coblentz, Patch, Duffy & Bass—is departing the premises, leaving 70,000 square feet of prime waterfront space up for grabs. An anonymous source tells the Business Times that companies such as the mobile analytics outfit Mix Panel, patent law firm Kilpatrick Townsend, or Thompson Reuters would have the dough to pay what could amount to some of the highest commercial rents in the city. The departing Coblentz, meanwhile, will decamp for entirely non-shabby new digs at One Montgomery. [SF Business Times/Photo via David Yu]
