Not to Be Outdone, Cole Valley Gets Its Very Own Sinkhole

After a scary-looking sinkhole opened up on Lake Street last week, PG&E rushed to shut down an exposed gas line and a Craigslist prankster rushed to list it for rent. Hoodline reports a new sinkhole, this one in Cole Valley at the corner of Belvedere and Grattan, and though it's not as sizable as the Lake Street original—which our Craigslist hoaxer estimated at a sub-micro-unit size of 60 square feet—the location is pretty central. Plus, unlike its northerly competitor, this one already has a roof. Cozy!
