The LA-based real estate investor Michael Rosenfeld and his Woodridge Capital Partners bought Nob Hill's Stanford Court Hotel, his firm announced today. That means Woodridge, which also owns the Fairmont and the Mark Hopkins, now controls 1,367 very fancy rooms in an equally fancy stretch of town. In 2008 the Stanford Court—which ranks among the best hotels in town to bring your dog to—underwent a $33 million renovation. Woodridge plans to upgrade the rooms and some of the public areas soon.
