Central Subway Wire

New, 2 comments

According to a new study, thousands of new riders would jump aboard the Central Subway if it were extended from its current planned endpoint in Chinatown to Fisherman's Wharf. The study also predicts that the project would cost between $367 million and $1.4 billion. There is currently no funding for such an extension, but the city's bid for the 2024 Olympics has drawn increased attention to the idea of a longer Central Subway. [SF Business Times]
