First Resale at the Icon Wants $113K More Than Last Year

When 18 condos at boutique building Icon first hit the market last year, they raised some eyebrows with their high prices. But the units sold quickly, with some going for above asking. Now, less than 18 months after Unit #204, a one-bedroom with parking, sold for $782K, it is back on the market with a significantly higher price than last year. The new ask is $895K, a full $113K increase—or nearly 15 percent—over its last sale. There have, of course, been no improvements to the condo in that time.

The condo, like most new construction in San Francisco, is compact. The kitchen is really just part of the main room, and counter space is not plentiful. However, the bedroom is spacious and opens directly onto a private patio deck. There's also a common sun deck in the building that the patio connects to, which does mean that the bedroom is very close to the public space.
