What? SF Might Actually Prefer George Lucas Blob to Old Presidio Proposal

The jury's still out on what the newly released designs for George Lucas's Chicago-bound Museum of Narrative Art most narratively resemble—a volcano? a pyramid? Jabba the Hutt? And now you can vote on which design you prefer, the old Crissy Field proposal that SF scuttled or MAD Architects' new steel-hatted blob, in a poll that John King put up this morning. Voting's been open for only an hour or so, but so far the MAD scheme leads with (as of this writing) 39 percent of the vote. Meanwhile, the conservative Crissy proposal lags in third place, behind a (more politely worded) "WTF?"
