It's been a long journey for the gorgeous Queen Anne at 21 Buena Vista East, but she seems to have finally found someone who recognizes her beauty. When she first come on the market back in 2013, we fell in love with her impeccably restored 22 rooms filled with period details and thought that someone might scoop her up quickly at the then-asking price of $6.5 million. However, it was not to be. The home went on and off the market throughout 2013 and then was sold at a foreclosure auction in August. Following the foreclosure it was quickly put back on the market for $4.495 million.
With new staging and a more realistic price this time around, the Queen Anne went into contract in just a few days and officially sold this week. The final price was $5.2 million, a solid $605K above the most recent ask. Whoever just bought the home gets six bedrooms, six bathrooms, a theater, a library, and a hot tub that fits 15 people.
