Fun with Land Use

The City of San Francisco is considering selling some of its underutilized land to developers to address the housing crisis. The city held two public meetings in October to discuss its plans and is also asking for feedback on the overall approach and specific sites through SF Planning's website. One of the most attractive potential sites is at Balboa Reservoir on a plot of land that currently hosts a parking lot but has the potential to hold between 500 and 1,000 residences.
