One of the giant steel sculptures by Mark di Suvero that featured in an exhibition of his work on Crissy Field has now found a permanent home in San Francisco. The 50-foot, 15-ton sculpture, named Dreamcatcher, will move to a grass quad at UCSF Mission Bay in December. The piece is designed to represent "the balance of hard work and aspiration that enables dreams to take flight." [SFGate]
