For the 18 affordable apartments coming to Forest City's 2175 Market in Eureka Valley, a whopping 2,595 people handed in applications. More than 100 turned out for the results of the lottery, which was reserved for people at or below 50 percent of area median income, or $48,550 for a family of four.
