Saluting the Glory Days of Sutro Baths in 16 Vintage Photos

New, 2 comments

It's hot. Like crazy ridiculous hot for the Bay Area, and there's no relief in sight till later this weekend. Since no one has air conditioning or any idea what to do when it gets this hot, let's find some relief vicariously through historic photos of Sutro Baths. The epic swimming establishment perched on the edge of the world may no longer exist, but its glimmering glory days live on. Oh, and if you're in search of more than a vicarious dip, our map of Bay Area swimming holes is this way.
