Play Station

Once upon a time, in its infancy, the Powell Street BART station was a place where transit riders might have plausibly lingered, at least for the 90 seconds it took to play a game of Pong. That's right: Back in 1976, BART hosted this Port-A-Potty-size Atari kiosk, which split its profits with the transit agency. Seeing as the station is being remodeled, the Bold Italic is asking for a revival of this short-lived experiment. Not a bad idea—the hexagon-shaped kiosk had room for six players at once, which is more than the iPhone 6 Plus can say, though it's only about half the size. [Bold Italic; previously]
