Human Street View

Because Google Street View is not all-seeing enough, the search giant has gone offroading and mapped the trails of 14 California state parks. The usual Street View cars can't get through, obviously, so the company had hikers strap on 40-pound backpacks outfitted with cameras. Some of the newly mapped areas include Mount Tamalpais State Park and Marina State Beach. [KQED]
