Dog owners continue to be less than thrilled about the proposed changes to off-leash dog areas at the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, especially outside of San Francisco in places like San Mateo. The changes to the plan would turn some off-leash dog areas to leash-only, a proposal that has upset dog owners and politicians alike. "This is grossly irresponsible," said U.S. Rep Jackie Spieier at a full-house public forum at the Stern Grove Clubhouse earlier this week.
