375-Square-Foot Studio Asks $2,395/Month In North Beach

New, 7 comments

That's right, San Franciscans: you can now pay almost $2,400/month for less than 400 square feet of real estate. While this isn't San Francisco's absolute smallest apartment currently for rent, it may be the most expensive studio per square foot. The pros: it's on the top floor, with expansive views of the Bay, Alcatraz, and Coit Tower; its kitchen makes the most of its small space with good counter space, stainless appliances, and a dishwasher; and it has a teeny, tiny private balcony. And while more money won't buy you more living space here, it can buy you a parking space for your car ($275/month) as well as the privilege of sharing the tiny apartment with your pet (unspecified pet rent). That means it would probably cost you about $2,750/month to live in this apartment with your pet and your car. Now go cry yourself to the bank.
