The historic Claremont Resort nestled in the Oakland Hills has had its share of financial problems in recent years—including filing for bankruptcy and going to auction. Shoot forward to present day and it seems like everyone's pockets are lined with extra money, so it's no surprise that the hotel is about to be purchased by Canadian investment group FRHI Hotels and Resorts.
