Russian Hill Reservoir For Sale?

SF Gate is reporting that the long-since decommissioned Francisco Reservoir in Russian Hill is finally getting its chance to become a park, as San Francisco Public Utilities Commission is officially in talks with the Recreation and Park Department about a sale. As you recall, neighbors have fought off multiple attempts over the years to develop the reservoir at Hyde and Francisco streets and have since raised funds and hired designers to dream up a park for the space.
