Historic Property in Union Square Gets Bought by Hotel G

New, 2 comments

The historic building at the northeast corner of Geary and Mason, which has operated as the Hotel Frank for the last few years, will soon be home to the United States' very first Hotel G. The brand is well established in Asia, with Hotel G's already fully operational in Beijing, Hong Kong, and Bangkok. As part of the San Francisco property's transformation, all public areas and 153 rooms will be completely remodeled in the hopes of appealing to moneyed clientele from around the globe. The building's exterior also just recently received a fresh coat of paint, and the awnings at the base of the property will soon be removed to let more light in to the ground floor. When it opens its doors this coming March, visitors will have yet another international name brand hotel to consider when choosing accommodations in San Francisco.
