Mid-Market development continues today as Shorenstein Properties (owners of Twitter's headquarters) announced a new residential project. The proposed 301-unit building would be constructed at 1066 Market Street, a narrow lot that widens as you move north, between McAllister and Golden Gate. Currently a parking lot and one-story building, the proposed tower would rise 12 stories and have a mix of studio, one-, and two-bedroom units. Arquitectonica has been hired to design the 300,000 sq. ft. tower, which will include a 6,000 sq. ft. rooftop deck and 7,000 sq. ft. interior courtyard.
