Mayor Ed Lee will announce the city's long term plan for the current housing crisis at his annual state of the city address today. It is expected to include, among other items, the fast-tracking of 30,000 new and rehabbed units earmarked for affordable. The range of just what "affordable" means is will also change, with middle-income residents capped at $145,650 for a family of four. [SFGate]
