Any update on the forthcoming mixed-use development at 1490 Ocean Avenue?Back in June we brought you the plans for 1490 Ocean, a project that would convert an existing gas station into a 45' four-story corner building with 15 condo units and 4,356 sq.ft. of ground floor retail. The new project was geared towards families, with nine 3-bedrooms and six 2-bedroom units. Nearby Westwood Park neighborhood was supportive as long as the Westwood Park identification pillar on the site remains. The Planning Commission agreed - they voted unanimously to approve the project, provided that the pillar was preserved.
