The housing boom continues. 1001 17th Street in Potrero Hill is currently home to a two-story warehouse building, but if approved at tomorrow's Planning Commission meeting it could become two brand new apartment buildings designed by Elevation Architects. The project proposes to construct two 4-story, 48-foot buildings with 26 units in one and 11 in the other. The project will keep five affordable units on-site - 2 two-br, 2 one-br, and 1 studio. Planning staff is recommending approval, and there hasn't been any vocal opinions from neighbors, so this one seems like a sure thing.
