When you're as wealthy as Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg, having a $10 million pied-a-terre fixer-upper in the city is no big deal. The Dolores Heights property was allegedly purchased by Mark and his wife last fall, and is currently undergoing over $1.6 million in remodels. Upgrades to the already 5,500 sq. ft. house include a new media room, office, half-bath, wine room, and wet bar to the first floor alone. The kitchen and bathrooms will be remodeled on the main floor, and pesky necessities like a new roof, new windows and seismic reinforcing will also be included. Reconfigured landscaping and a spanking new greenhouse will round out the changes. The Zuckerberg clan spends most of their time in a $7M home in Palo Alto.
